Category 8 – Advanced Security

Phishing Protection
Phishing is the fraudulent practice of sending emails purporting to be from reputable companies in order to induce individuals to reveal personal information, such as passwords and credit card numbers.
Not only do we provide the setup and provisioning of an automated phishing protection service, we deliver training to each and every one of your staff. Your Limetree Labs dedicated IT Director will report results of the training and provide improvement strategies.
DNS Security
DNS is important because it links your domain name to the internet. Internet criminals can exploit these weaknesses and are capable of creating false DNS records. These fake records can trick users into visiting fake websites, downloading malicious software, or worse.
We ensure that your DNS (which is linked to your email, website, etc.) is secure and not susceptible to hackers.
Desktop Backups
In information technology, a backup, or data backup is a copy of computer data taken and stored elsewhere so that it may be used to restore the original after a data loss event. Desktop backups are snapshots of each and every computer used in your organization. If your computer is stolen, damaged, or simply stops working, we have an off-site backup of your workstation and can get you up and running again in no time.
As part of our All Green service, we test each of the computer’s (or endpoints) backup restore on a regular basis. Meanwhile, we are always monitoring the health of the backups to resolve any issues that may arise.
Advanced Security Audit
Organizations invest a large portion of their information technology budgets on security applications and services, such as anti-malware software, firewalls, and encryption. But no matter how much security hardware or software you deploy, how tightly you control the rights of users, or how carefully you configure security permissions on your data, you should not consider the job complete unless you have a well-defined, timely auditing strategy to track the effectiveness of your defenses and identify attempts to circumvent them.

Mobile Device Management
Our smart phones have become a big part of our everyday workflows. Many apps are available on both desktop and mobile and allow for on-the-go tasks and communication. With the Advanced Security add-on, we provide device management that includes device policy configuration on phones. To ensure security, we can restrict your organization email and cloud file services to only be run on phones with the MDM (or Mobile Device Management) software installed.
Again, if your data is privileged, confidential, or required to comply with HIPPA standards, Advanced Security is a no-brainer. Don’t risk your business and your clients by allowing data to be compromised.
